Data collected through the site

The site has no contact forms, no user areas, no account registration, no payment systems and no profiling tools: we do not request or collect personal data through forms.

For technical and security purposes only, server logs may be recorded (visitor IP address, browser, date and time of the request) and technical cookies necessary for the site to work. See the Cookie policy for details.

Data received through direct channels

When the user chooses to contact us via the details published on the Contact page (phone, email or WhatsApp), we receive the data they choose to share: phone number, email address, the content of the message and any attachments (for example, photos of their boat). These channels live outside the website: the site itself does not intercept or store them.

Such data is processed exclusively to reply to the user’s request (quote, information on services, booking an appointment at the yard). The legal basis is the execution of pre-contractual measures requested by the data subject (art. 6.1.b GDPR).

External providers

For the operation of the site we rely on the following external providers, which may process technical or browsing data only to the extent strictly necessary to deliver the service:

• Site hosting provider, for publishing the pages and recording technical logs for security purposes.
• CARTO (CARTO DB Inc.), for the "Map" tiles on the pages featuring the yard’s map, based on OpenStreetMap data. Serves tiles without setting cookies and may temporarily log the visitor’s IP address for technical purposes only.
• Esri Inc., for the "Satellite" tiles on the pages featuring the yard’s map. Serves tiles without setting cookies and may temporarily log the visitor’s IP address for technical purposes only.
• Google LLC, when the user clicks the "Directions" button on the map or any other link to Google Maps: a new browser tab opens and the user leaves our site to access Google’s service, governed by its own privacy notice.

Data retention

Server technical logs are kept for the time strictly required for site security, after which they are rotated or deleted by the hosting provider.

Messages received via the direct channels (email, phone, WhatsApp) are kept for the time required to handle the request and, afterwards, for a limited period for documentation and accounting purposes, after which they are deleted. The user can request earlier deletion at any time.

Rights of the data subject

The user may exercise the rights set out in articles 15-22 GDPR at any time: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, withdrawal of consent.

To exercise these rights, simply write to info@nauticaserviziterradotranto.it. The user also has the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
